Online orders must be paid by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Purchase Orders accepted only via online form or scanned and emailed to emailorders@LWTears.com. PO can't be placed over the phone.


Shipping Rates

We use a variety of methods to ship our orders. We consider delivery time and order weight in choosing the most efficient carrier.

U.S. Shipping and Handling Rates

  • Subtotal under $65: add $6.50
  • Subtotal over $65: add 10% of subtotal

AK, HI, APO/FPO, and U.S. Territories Shipping and Handling Rates

  • 15% of subtotal ($7.50 minimum)

Canada Shipping and Handling Rates

  • 10% of subtotal ($14 minimum; includes customs, duties and brokerage fees)

International Shipping (excluding Canada)

  • 15% of subtotal ($20.00 minimum)


Delivery Time

Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

  • U.S. and U.S. Territories: 7-14 business days
  • APO/FPO: Up to 15 business days
  • Canada: 7-14 business days
  • Other International: Approximately 15 business days

Customers can submit their request for expedited shipping and approval of the additional $10 fee one of the following ways:

  • Clearly note the request to expedite and the approval of the $10 fee in the order documents you provide.
  • Contact customer service at 888.983.8409 to verbally confirm request.
  • Contact Customer Care to request expedited processing; You'll need to prepare a written note authorizing the additional $10 fee.
  • For online orders, include a written comment on the order authorizing the additional $10 fee for expedited processing.

International customers: Please note that we cannot guarantee an earlier delivery date with expedited processing due to the time needed for the shipped items to clear customs varies.


Multiple Destinations

You are not able to submit an online order that will ship to multiple destinations. You may either enter a separate online order for each shipping address, or you may submit a purchase order online or email showing the items to ship to each address.


Tax-Exempt

All online orders will show tax charges. If you are tax exempt, enter the tax exempt number in the online order comments with a note that states that you are tax exempt and are sending in your tax exempt certificate. Then, follow up by emailing your tax exempt certificate to taxdepartment@lwtears.com. Please be sure to note the online order's reference order ID so that we can locate your order. We will make sure that if we have the proper tax exempt information, we will not charge you tax.


Purchase Orders

Learning Without Tears® gladly accepts purchase orders from schools or businesses. Official purchase orders must be signed by an authorized representative and the form must be uploaded or emailed along with your order details to Learning Without Tears. We cannot accept purchase orders for online or phone orders.

If your school does not use purchase orders, you may submit your order along with a purchase authorization written on official school letterhead and signed by the principal or other authorized purchaser at your school. Please reference the shipping and billing address in the purchase authorization letter.


Returns and Exchanges

Non-Digital Products
Learning Without Tears™ will accept returns within three months of the customer’s order date. All returned items must be in unused, saleable condition. Each return must include:

  • A copy of the packing slip or the returns processing form with the marked item(s) and quantity being returned
  • Reason for return (damage, wrong item, duplicate, other)
  • Your request for an account credit, refund, or exchange

Digital Products
Learning Without Tears will grant refunds on digital products within the first three months of the customer's order date for products that have not been activated. To start the refund process, please contact Customer Service at 888.983.8409 or Contact Customer Care.

Refunds
You will receive a full refund for each item returned in unused, saleable condition. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of receipt of your return.

Exchanges
If you are returning products for an exchange, please keep in mind that the entire exchange process can take up to two weeks. It generally takes about 5-6 business days for the return to reach our warehouse, then another 5-6 business days for the new shipment to reach you.
